Bryan Clintsman, CFP®
Bryan founded Clintsman Financial Planning to meet a demand he has seen for many years. “I started Clintsman Financial Planning in 2002 because of the frustrations consumers were expressing about finding a comprehensive financial planner that focused on more than investments, and one that did not sell any financial products. Over the years, a great number of people have experienced the refreshing objectivity and benefits of our comprehensive financial planning models.”
Prior to establishing his own practice, Bryan worked with Nobel Laureate Dr. Harry Markowitz at an investment advisory firm that provided investment advice to employees in their 401(k) plans. Before that, he worked for over fourteen years at two international consulting firms (Ernst & Young, LLP and Arthur Andersen, LLP), providing financial planning advice to high net worth individuals and business owners. “I love what I do and am passionate about educating people to help them make better decisions. Young couples, single adults, middle aged families and retirees frequently tell us they had no idea the financial planning process could be so interesting and helpful – they wished they had done this years ago.”
Bryan received his BS in Accounting and MS in Taxation from the University of North Texas and has earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation from the CFP Board of Standards. Bryan is a past Chairman of the DFW chapter of the Financial Planning Association, has been quoted in numerous publications, and has been named by his peers in D Magazine’s list of the “Best Financial Planners in Dallas” every survey since 2004.
He lives with his family in Southlake, Texas and loves to travel, especially to the mountains.
